Local, National and Regional Competitions
The Alice Smith School participate in
national and regional sports leagues, competitions and tournaments against
other international schools and covering a wide range of different sports.
These are part of three different organisations; the International Schools Athletic Conference (ISAC), the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA, formerly known as FOBISSEA) and South East Asia Schools Athletic Conference (SEASAC).
This is the local league, comprising of seven international schools in Kuala Lumpur:

FOBISIA (formerly FOBISSEA)
Primary FOBISIA Games 2014 Information
FOBISIA is an organisation of 41 British international schools, of which the Alice Smith School was a founding member who collectively hold events in sports, the arts and professional development. In Sports, FOBISIA member schools are split into three conferences and within each conference there are divisions. The Alice Smith School are in the top division of the top conference (A1).
The FOBISIA Games are held annually for three different age groups: Under 11 (known as the Primary Games), Under 13 and Under 15. The Games comprise of teams from the region competing across four sports in three days. The Primary Games compete in Athletics, Swimming, Football and T-Ball. The Under 13 and 15 teams compete in Athletics, Swimming, Football and Basketball.
Each school takes it in turn to host the Games. They provide amazing opportunities for those selected to represent the school to compete at a high standard, travel overseas with the school, feel immense pride and contribution as a team member and make new friends.
SEASAC is an organization of 12 member schools who organise a variety of events in sports and the arts. There are a whole range of SEASAC sports competitions from football to swimming. The games are generally for older students (U19) although some activities such as swimming and gymnastics include younger age groups. The events are highly competitive and of an excellent standard. Competitions are held all over the region and schools take turns to host different events.
