The Kuala Lumpur Alice Smith School (KLASS) is one of the most prestigious, reputable and well established British Curriculum Schools in South East Asia and is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2016. Fully accredited as a British School Overseas by the Department for Education in London, it received an excellent grade from its recent inspection. The school is a member of the The Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA), the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS), the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).
Founded in 1946, KLASS is open to students of all nationalities provided they can access the curriculum in the medium of English. The English National Curriculum, adapted to the school's local circumstances, forms the basis of the academic programme. (I)GCSE courses are offered in Year 10 and 11 and A-levels in Year 12 and 13, with the additional rigour of the AQA Baccalaureate.

We are a Google Apps for Education school working across both Windows and Mac platforms and utilise the power of Google sites and Google Classroom to provide tailored learning opportunities for our students. We are a 1:1 iPad school in Years 5-9 and operate a 'bring your own browser' programme in Years 10-13.
As a technology-rich school, all teachers and students have access to a broad range of technology to be used as appropriate to each learning outcome. This provision includes class-sets of laptops, desktops, MacBooks and iPads as well as a comprehensive suite of software to complement what takes place across the curriculum.
As technology plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day life of the school, a very high proficiency in the use of technologies to support learning is essential to make a smooth transition to Alice Smith. Learning technology support is given to all new appointees - both before they arrive and during their employment - to ensure that they can facilitate learning for students. This takes the form of face-to-face and self-paced continuing professional learning opportunities as well as in-class support by our learning technology specialists.
