The Alice Smith Foundation is delighted to announce an expansion of our Tertiary Study Grant to allow applications from any Alice Smith School student (Year 13 or gap year) that has accepted a place or is holding a firm offer at:
A world Top 30 University or College (as listed by QS 2024) for entry in 2024 or 2025.
The purpose of the Tertiary Study Grant is to partially support the tuition fee expenses of a graduating Alice Smith School student during their undergraduate studies in a leading prestigious university. The grant is funded from donations made to the Scholarships and Bursaries Fund of The Alice Smith School Foundation, subject to the availability of the fund. Prior to this year applicants had to be a KLASS Scholar to qualify.
The Foundation can make up to two (2) awards each year. Each award is worth up to RM 50,000 per year for the duration of the student’s university course and will be paid directly to the university.

The closing date for submissions will be 8am Tuesday 4th June 2024. Only submissions received by the main reception at the Equine Park Secondary School will be considered. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview w/c 17th June 2024. Successful applicants will be notified on or before the 5th July 2024.

The beneficiary of The Alice Smith School Foundation Tertiary Study Grant will commit to the following:
Maintain study in the undergraduate course they have enrolled for at the time when the grant is agreed and achieve satisfactory academic results for each year when the grant is offered (as evidenced by transcripts of academic results).
Be a brand ambassador of the Alice Smith School and The Alice Smith School Foundation by;
Be the Year Representative for the country in which the KLASS scholar is studying and be a strong advocate for the KLASSics Alumni Association eg. reaching out to other alumni (former students, parents and teachers), support the work of KLASSics and attend the country annual reunion where available.
