The ACHIEVE programme is bespoke to Alice Smith and stands for the seven empirically validated elements of wellbeing and essential skills which together describe a flourishing individual.
Each learning experience within the ACHIEVE programme is tailored to suit your child’s needs, strengths and preferences, with the aim of nurturing wellbeing, character, personal awareness and self-confidence within a challenging, vibrant and supportive environment.
The ACHIEVE programme for all students from Years 7 to Sixth Form are distinct timetabled lessons held once a week.
The aim is to provide students with opportunities to develop skills and attributes for life. Sessions are interactive, collaborative and inclusive and everyone is encouraged to participate in discussion and debate.
The topics covered are informed by the PSHE Association in the UK but also by our context as a British International School in Malaysia. Key topics we focus on include: online safety, financial and economic well-being, sex education, relationships, life skills, careers, health and nutrition and we also run sessions supporting students in dealing with stress and anxiety.

Study Skills
With the mock and (I)GCSE exams approaching, through the ACHIEVE programme, students are guided on developing effective study skills, learn to strategise, plan and organise their study time as well as shifting their thoughts on activities that help to de-stress and relax the mind.
