A teaching and learning platform used with students from Years 5 to 13. Class teachers can use Google Classroom to set work, send out information and communicate with students. Information arrives directly into the student’s email account with links to documents in Google Drive.
In Foundation Stage, your child will have their own individual learning journal (Tapestry). Tapestry is an online learning journal that enables the capture and documentation of your child’s ongoing development and learning. It allows us to share this information with you regularly and enables you to respond and discuss these successes as they happen. Staff will upload observations, photos and short videos on a regular basis to build up a record of your child’s experiences and progress during their time with us in the Foundation Stage.
The iStudent App offers an innovative and engaging way for students to view their school information- anytime and anywhere. Accessed directly from their iPads, students can see their curriculum and timetable, achievements and reports.
The same location as the parent KLASS Gateway, this is a site that allows your child to access the academic areas of the school for each campus and the KLASS Library. Students will be able to access these services using their Google Account username and password. This will be issued to them in the first week of the term.
Please ensure that your children have all the apps on the core app list for their respective campus, including the paid apps. The list can be found on the KLASS 1:1 site and each app can be clicked to take you directly to the app store for download. This is important to ensure the correct versions of the paid apps are installed as some apps offer different pricing tiers. Similarly students also need the iStudent app, (which is also in the list) and will allow them to view their timetable, achievements and the KLASS Times.
All parent emails are sent to the parents school SSO email account which ends in @asis.edu.my. If you do not want to access this Gmail account separately you can set it up to forward to an email address of your choosing by following the easy steps below:
