U11 Boys A 43 - 17 ISP Boys A
The U11 Boys A and B teams played their first friendly fixtures of the year against the ISP Pumas. The team played really well together and showed great teamwork. The boys kept encouraging and motivating each other throughout the game. On defense, everyone played their part. Overall, their effort and support for each other made them a strong and united team on the court.

U11 Boys B 19 - 8 ISP Boys B
The U11 Boys B team had a great game, continuously getting better and learning to work together as the game progressed. Humphrey and Fabian set a great example on defense by hustling on every play, winning the ball back, and contesting every shot. This inspired their teammates to put in extra effort on defense. As the game went on, the boys found their groove as a team and displayed even better energy, playing great team defense, finding the open player on offense, and cheering each other on after every play.

U11 Girls A 12 - 12 ISP Girls A
U11 Girls B 18 - 18 ISP Girls B
The teams played exceptionally well, showing great teamwork in their first basketball match. Despite their inexperience, there were very few violations, which speaks to their discipline and focus. They played solid defense throughout the game and managed to get a lot of shots up. Even though they faced taller opponents, they played with determination and heart, proving that effort matters more than height.
Cross Country at ISP
On Friday morning 33 runners from the Alice Smith Running EPA took part in a 2km Cross Country run around Desa Park Lake. This practice run was hosted by The International School of Park City. This was a wonderful opportunity for our runners to get a feel for a Cross Country event and great preparation for AIMS Cross Country happening on 5 November.
We had some stand out performances on the day:
U9 Boys - 1st place
U9 Girls - 4th place
U10 Boys - 3rd place
U10 Girls - 4th place
U11 Boys - 4th place
U11 Girls - 2nd place
Well done to all Alice Smith runners for completing the 2km run with so much heart, determination and enthusiasm.
On Monday our U11 Boys and Girls (A+B) teams travel all the way to Sunway International School for a basketball friendly. We wish them all the best!
