U11 Football vs ISKL

On Friday, 21st February, our U11 Boys All Squad traveled to ISKL for an exciting series of matches. The boys showcased tremendous commitment, determination, and teamwork, taking on strong opposition in a highly competitive set of games.

The results reflected the intensity of the contest, with a 5-3 victory, a hard-fought 0-0 draw, and two narrow defeats (5-1 and 2-1). Despite the challenges, the team displayed resilience and fighting spirit, representing the school with pride.

A huge well done to all the players for their effort and sportsmanship. This experience will only make us stronger as we prepare for future fixtures. Keep up the great work!














 

AIMS Athletics

On Monday, 24 February, Alice Smith proudly hosted the annual AIMS Primary School Athletics event at our EP campus. The event welcomed six schools from across the city, creating a fantastic atmosphere of competition and sportsmanship.

Our Alice Smith athletes showcased tremendous effort and determination throughout the day. A special mention goes to our U9 Girls team, who achieved an impressive third-place finish in their age category.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all Alice Smith parents for their unwavering support and to our dedicated staff whose hard work and commitment ensured the success of this event.

KLASS Swimmers Excel at FOBISIA and MIAG Swimming Championships!

This past weekend (20th-23rd February 2025) was a whirlwind of competition for our KLASS swimmers, with outstanding performances at both the FOBISIA Swimming 2025 held at Rugby School Thailand, Pattaya and the Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships (MIAG) held at Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan (PADE) and Shah Alam.

FOBISIA Swimming 2025 Highlights:

Our 17 FOBISIA swimmers demonstrated incredible dedication, traveling long hours to compete. Their hard work paid off with numerous personal bests and strong showings across all events and earning placement ribbons.

  • Gerald Ho: A standout performer, achieving impressive times in the 200m IM, 50m Back, 50m Fly, and 100m Free.
  • Summer Van Ham: Displayed great versatility, achieving impressive times in multiple events including 50m Fly and 100m Free.
  • Vova Tsoy: Showed strength in breaststroke, with a notable time in the 100m breaststroke, and strong results in other events.
  • Isla Manning: strong performance in the 100m breaststroke.
  • Jon Leow: strong performance in the 100m freestyle.
  • Participating FOBISIA Swimmers: Chloe Allen, Ji Syuen Chang, Cristan Cheng, Gerald Ho, Brandon How, Jon Leow, Grace Marie McNamara, Joo Wei Oh, Isaac Phang, Elise Schlesiger, Valencia Tan, Amelia Townsend, Vova Tsoy, Summer Van Ham, Isla Manning, James Wilson, Shanie Yeok.
  • All 17 swimmers showed great KLASS Lions spirit and sportsmanship.

Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships (MIAG) Highlights:

Our MIAG swimmers faced fierce competition at this qualifying meet for the SEA Age Group and World Aquatics Championships. They delivered exceptional performances, showcasing their talent and dedication.

  • Kimberley Bee: Achieved impressive times across multiple events, notably in the 100m Breast (1:23.18), 200m IM (2:42.72), and 50m Free (31.91).
  • Alynna Yong: Showed strength in backstroke and freestyle, with notable times in the 200m Back (2:53.80) and 200m IM (3:01.42).
  • Tee Him: Demonstrated versatility with strong times in freestyle, breaststroke, and butterfly, including a 400m Free time of 5:16.75.
  • Zuhayra Adn bt Zulkifli: Achieved excellent times in butterfly and freestyle, with a notable 50m Fly time of 34.72.
  • Miranda Chiew: achieved strong times in the 200m Freestyle and 100m Breaststroke.
  • Thon Kok Jun: strong performance in the 200m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly.
  • Participating MIAG Swimmers: Alynna Yong, Kimberley Bee, Miranda Chiew, Thon Kok Jun, Zuhayra Adn bt Zulkifli, and Tee Him.
